Description

Regional monthly average carbon monoxide with statistics and hemispheric monthly means from 2002 to 2018 are archived in this dataset. MOPITT satellite data are used to derive the regional monthly means while measurements from a set of satellite instruments (Measurements of Pollution In The Troposphere - MOPITT, Atmospheric Infrared Sounder - AIRS, Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer - TES, Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer - IASI A and B, the Cross-track Infrared Sounder - CrIS) are used to compute hemispheric monthly means: the Southern Hemisphere between 60 degrees South and the equator, and the Northern Hemisphere between the equator and 60 degrees North.
