    Personal profile

    Research interests

I am a land ice modeler working with the Community Ice Sheet Model (CISM) as a stand alone model and as a components of the Community Earth System Model (CESM). My interests are in improving the representation of land ice (ice sheet and glaciers) and better understand their feedback with the Earth System across time scales. In particular, I am interested in sea level, ice-ocean interaction, the role of ice sheets in ocean primary production, the past and future of ice sheets and glaciers in a changing world.

I work on improving the usability of CISM by the community including seting up and running the model, and looking at diagnostics.

Beyond land ice, I am also interested in the development of professional development for early careers at NSF NCAR.
