Biography
Victoria is an Advanced Study Program Postdoctoral Fellow in the Paleo and Polar Climate Section of the Climate and Global Dynamics Laboratory. She earned her PhD in Geosciences from the University of Texas at Austin in 2026 before joining NSF NCAR.
Victoria is interested in past and future hydroclimate variability and change. She combines paleoclimate proxy records with isotope-enabled and high-resolution Earth system modeling to investigate the mechanisms linking large-scale climate dynamics to regional precipitation. Her research focuses on atmosphere-ocean interactions, monsoons, drought, and the ways that past climate changes can improve understanding of future hydroclimate.
