Advances in eye-safe atmospheric volume imaging lidar

Abstract

A multi-dimensional lidar, well suited for urban surveillance and aerosol plume monitoring, has been developed and is operational. The paper discusses research and development efforts to extend the instrument capabilities toward quantitative measurements of aerosol.
