Abstract
The equations contain 2 parameters which may be empirically estimated from observations in a hurricane or determined climatologically to define a standard hurricane; examples are given. The model is shownto be generally superior to 2 other widely used models and is considered to be a valuable aid in operational forecasting, case studies and engineering work. -from Author
