    Abstract

An account is given on an implementation employing fuzzy logic to recognize both Anomalous Propagation (AP) clutter and precipitation, both of which will improve precipitation estimation. The near-term plan is covered by the Open Systems Nexrad Product Improvement effort. A long-term plan requires a future hardware upgrade.
