Abstract
The research described is part of a coordinated study making use of several data sources, all brought to bear on a storm which occurred on July 22 during the 1976 National Hail Research Experiment (NHRE) field season. The paper describes the measurements by an armored T-28 which penetrated the storm between 6 and 7 km. The discussion concentrates on the characteristics of the weak echo region (WER) occurring in the storm.
