Abstract
Traditional approaches to analysis of airborne dual Doppler data involve extensive, time-consuming editing of the data prior to interpolation to a grid or multiple Doppler synthesis. A highly efficient approach has been developed for use with the NCAR ELDORA airborne Doppler radar system. The approach is also applicable to other multiple Doppler data sets in which the radar produces data that are relatively free from error. This technique saves considerable time in data processing by eliminating all hand editing of the data.
