GNSS Radio Frequency Interference Risk Mapping of COSMIC-2 POD Antennas

Abstract

COSMIC-2 is a GNSS radio occultation (RO) mission consisting of six satellites to scan vertical atmospheric profiles. GNSS radio frequency interference (RFI) degrades the performance of orbit determination and RO applications. Since early 2022, the COSMIC-2 science team has produced an RFI index product based on the SNR of line-of-sight (LOS) signals collected by the precise orbit determination (POD) antennas.
