Abstract

The long-term, consistent and high-resolution climate data set for North American domain is discussed which is known as North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR). The NARR predicts variability of water in weather and climate which is in concern with the U.S. precipitation patterns. The free forecasts use forecast lateral boundary conditions which simulates forecast skill in operational conditions. The data sets used in NARR include precipitation, vertical azimuth display (VAD) winds, land surface wind, lake surface and sea ice.
