Abstract
An axisymmetric constant density and viscosity model is used to simulate a laboratory tornado model by *N.B. Ward (J. Atmos. Sci., vol.29, 1972, pp.1194-1204), which incorporates a rising air motion over an area appreciably greater in diameter than the depth of the converging layer. (I.F.)
