Abstract

A Doppler radar analysis system is presented and tested on storm data observed in CAPE. Preliminary results have shown that this analysis system is able to retrieve the kinematical, thermodynamical, and microphysical structure of convective storms by fitting the radar observations to an anelastic cloud model.
