Abstract

A report is presented of the Second International Conference on Southern Hemisphere Meteorology and details of papers and their contents are summarized. Sessions included weather analysis and forecasting, synoptic phenomena, fronts in the southern hemisphere, satellite data, Antarctic and high latitude meteorology, general circulation, general circulation modelling, the stratosphere in the Southern Hemisphere, tropical meteorology, Australian topics, circulation near Africa and South American meteorology.
