Abstract
While software to display radar data often has the capability to produce publication quality output, a majority uses methods that are dependent upon the resolution of the screen. GRID2PS and RAW2PS were developed to produce publication quality (2-D) true PostScript output, which generates a higher quality figure because it takes advantage of the resolution of the printer as opposed to the resolution of the screen. Additionally, the user has control over the output and graphical details such as font, margins and vector length which can easily be altered.
