UTILIZATION OF AIRCRAFT SIZE SPECTRA MEASUREMENTS AND SIMULTANEOUS DOPPLER RADAR MEASUREMENTS TO DETERMINE THE PHYSICAL STRUCTURE OF CLOUDS.

Research output: AbstractPaperpeer-review

Abstract

Techniques for converting aircraft size spectra measurements into parameters useful for Doppler radar data interpretation are discussed. Emphasis is on clouds composed primarily of ice particles. Specific examples of their uses are given.
