Abstract
A new VHF MST profiler radar has been built in the Canadian Arctic. A preliminary study carried out with a small test transmitter showed that the radar is working correctly. With the upcoming installation of a more powerful transmitter, and the further development of analysis procedures, the radar is on-track to becoming a unique tool for observing the polar atmosphere.
